Finished Environment!

The finished paintover! Here is my rendition of a rather cartoony, run-down slum area.

Here i have added the textures from SketchUp, as you can see the textures arent great, but i only did this to give myself and others some indication as to what the final piece should look like. I am currently working on the photoshop paintover, and this should be up in the near future. :)

New concept environment..

 

This is the 3D model of a new environment I'm working on, it is based on a slum kind of settlement, but this will be a lot more obvious when i have done the paint over. As i said, this is just the first step and it will be greatly improved over time. It was created on SketchUp for those of you who are interested. :)

Spaceage Concept Sketches..

In these two pictures i was just messing around with some ideas for some futuristic Industrial Gas canisters, i feel the top image is slightly more modern but hey ho, both look cool :).
This was my rough idea for some kind of moon base thingy, possibly some kind of outpost for someone, this could also be developed into some kind of main base structure. Again these sketches are mainly for the viewing of the lovely people from the Colony Game that i email earlier ;), however, constructive critisism is always greatly appreciated, as is any praise :).

Concept sketches..

Just some quick concepts of some small, handheld, uneccessarily pointy, throwing weapons I came up with. Please note: this is mainly for the viewing of Legendary Magazine, as a small showcase of some work. I do not expect this to be taken as a finished piece, nor do i expect feedback, as I said, this is for the viewing of Legendary Magazine.

Again this is a quick sketch of an idea I was playing around with, in this particular cartoony drawing I was going for the stereotypical meathead henchman. You know the type, all muscle, no brains. This is more suited to a comic/graphic novel, just to show you i can work in this style ;). I apologise for it being sideways as well.

Beautiful Sunset

A quality silhouetted landscape shot I caught out the window of my English room, just on the way out. Turned out as a rather nice painting as well... one day, when the mood takes me, ill put both of them on here so I can.. er.. juxtapose them a little.. ;)..

Hi there,

I am a 16 year old aspiring artist and photographer looking for some exposure via the Internet. I currently reside in the York area of east Yorkshire and will be more than happy to participate in any local commissions, i have some small restraints in regard to working time as i am currently studying English language, Music, Geography, Art, and Photography at my local 6th form college, however these problems can be easily worked around and will not interfere with any other work i would endeavour to undertake.
